History

John Tonkin College Education Support Centre was established in 1986 on the former Mandurah Senior High School campus as an Education Support Unit. In 2001, the centre was moved to the new Mandurah Education and Training (MET) campus on Education Drive and was named Mandurah’s Career Enterprise Centre. After 15 years of operating as the CEC, we changed our name to John Tonkin College Education Support Centre in 2016.

We may have been known by different names, on different sites, but our wonderful community remains vibrant with many familiar faces. We pride ourselves on our strong involvement with local businesses, schools, and past students.
